General & Preventative Dentistry is the key to maintaining a bright smile and healthy mouth. Regular maintenance with check-ups and cleanings can significantly reduce the chances of oral infections, tooth decay and gum disease (periodontal disease).
We recommend 6 monthly check-ups for an examination and cleaning to remove the plaque & tartar and restrengthen your teeth with fluoride application.
Daily preventive home care can prevent problems before they develop. There are simple steps that can reduce the risk of developing tooth decay, gum disease and other dental problems. These include:
Brushing twice a day for 2 minutes and flossing daily
Using dental products that contain fluoride, such as toothpaste and mouthwash
Drinking fluoridated water
Eating a balanced diet and limiting snacks between meals, especially those high in sugar
Assisting children with their teeth cleaning habits and nutrition as they grow their adult teeth
